Flexera Software Releases New Version of AdminStudio Suite 11.5

Flexera Software, a provider of strategic solutions for application usage management, launched its AdminStudio Suite 11.5, a product that powers an enterprise's Application Readiness process for desktop transformations, migrations to Windows 7 and 8, virtualization, and day-to-day application packaging operations. Application usage management solutions include delivering continuous compliance, optimized usage and maximized value to application producers and their customers.

AdminStudio Suite is trusted by more than 10,000 organizations and eliminates the need for multiple standalone tools and provides an integrated solution for a range of teams, reducing helpdesk calls and increasing user productivity by ensuring consistent and reliable application deployments.

The new release provides fully integrated application compatibility, packing and migration capabilities, eliminating the need for standalone third party application compatibility tools and streamlining the complete Application Readiness process. It further extends support for Microsoft (News - Alert) Private Cloud Solutions, application virtualization and Windows 8 migration efforts. A new bundling package with Flexera Software’s App Portal enables user-driven, app store deployments and the consumerization of IT, while still allowing management to retain accountability and control.

Building on the foundation established with the launch of AdminStudio Suite 11, Flexera Software is unveiling support for creating and managing Windows Server App-V packages, enabling enterprises’ migration efforts to the Microsoft Private Cloud.

The latest version also offers additional support for Microsoft App-V 5.0 and application virtualization, enhanced application compatibility capabilities, including testing for Windows 8 migration and a new app portal bundle.

The AdminStudio Suite is comprised of AdminStudio, which provides enterprise IT teams with software packaging tools to efficiently prepare reliable application packages for deployment with a complete suite of automated MSI (News - Alert) packaging, customization, testing and management reporting capabilities; AdminStudio Application Compatibility Pack, which significantly reduces the time and effort involved in a migration to Windows 7 or 8; AdminStudio Virtualization Pack, which provides enterprise IT teams with a solution to efficiently prepare reliable virtual applications for deployment with a complete set of suitability testing, automated conversation, validation, editing and management reporting capabilities; AdminStudio Virtual Desktop Assessment, which monitors the behavior of computers, users and applications; and Workflow Manager, a Web-based process management tool to control application readiness processes like packaging, deployment, application virtualization and other desktop management processes.
