Airvana and Ericsson Decide to Settle Dispute, Details Still Being Discussed
The legal battle between Airvana Network Solutions and Ericsson raged for well over a year but it was finally resolved recently after the two companies agreed to settle the dispute after mediation earlier this month. It all started when Airvana sued Ericsson in February 2012 for over $330 million, for allegedly violating trade secrets and trying to force Airvana out of business.

Adobe and the Winds of Change

To Bundle or Not to Bundle?
Bundling is not a foreign concept to either consumers or producers. A prime example - cable television has been bundling its channel offerings for decades. We subscribe to hundreds of channels for a monthly fee, of which we may actually use only three. Regardless of this demand, however, a la carte pricing for television is practically non-existent. There are interesting motivations fueling this bundle sales model, and it is important that the software industry evaluate its options carefully in this regard.
